At least four civilians have been killed in a roadside mine explosion in Kandahar province, Afghanistan

According to a local police statement, the explosion occurred in the benjwai area. A civilian vehicle triggered a roadside mine as it passed by, killing three women and one child on board. Four children, one woman and one man were injured in the explosion and were later taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. So far, no organization has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
